This is my favorite poem, and i choose to think of grampa in this way so i wanted to share it with everyone I'm sure you've heard it before...love you grampa Do not stand at my grave and weep I am not there. I do not sleep. I am a thousand winds that blow. I am the diamond glints on snow. I am the sunlight on ripened grain. I am the gentle autumn rain. When you awaken in the morning's hush I am the swift uplifting rush Of quiet birds in circled flight. I am the soft stars that shine at night. Do not stand at my grave and cry; I am not there. Jack was the father of my common law wife Janice. He was a very thoughtful man full of common sense, love and a deep respect for all that he knew in life. I remember the day I asked permission to marry his daughter Janice (which I have yet to do). He said "Yes" with open arms and received me into the Barnett family. It was a very happy day for me. I'll also remember the many times Jack would shovel the neighbor's driveway or help them with their chores around their house; he was like a social butterfly always visiting and making others feel happy and welcomed. Jack was always loved and will be greatly missed. Thank you for for giving me the honour to know you, your daughter and your family. With love and gratitude, Dave Jolly
