Obituary of Lloyd Soper

Soper, peacefully surrounded by family at Valleyview Home, St. Thomas on Thursday, June 10, 2010. Lloyd Soper of St. Thomas in his 93rd year. Beloved husband of the late Edna (White) Soper. Dear father of Kenneth Simpson & Gloria, Raymond Simpson & Sheila all of St. Thomas. Loving grandfather of Ronnie Soper, Cathy DeVries(Randy), Jeff Simpson(Annette), Troy Simpson, Todd Simpson(Vickie) & Tammy Simpson(Wayne). Also survived by a number of great grandchildren. Brother of Inez "Babe" Whistlecraft. Predeceased by a son, Ronald, brothers Blake, Robert and Ross and a sister Rhea. Born in New Sarum Ontario on April 05, 1918. Lloyd was a Veteran of WWII and worked at Weatherhead for a number of years. Friends may call at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Saturday 2-4 p.m. A private family graveside service will be held at the Aylmer Cemetery.
