Obituary of John W. Bradford

Bradford, at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Friday, May 28, 2010. John W. Bradford of Aylmer in his 94th year. Beloved husband of the late Olive Bradford(2003). Dear father of Barbara Gray and husband Frank of Aylmer and the late John D. Bradford(2008). Father-in-law of Jeannette Bradford of Aylmer. Grandfather to Craig Bradford, Christine Gray. Great-grandfather to Tyler and Bradley Evans. Brother of Alice Pettipiece. Predeceased by brothers Albert, George and Douglas Bradford. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Born in Aylmer on November 28, 1916 son of the late Albert and Mary Jane (Catt) Bradford. John was veteran of WW II and served in the Army as a mechanic. He worked for the Dominion Grocery Store in Aylmer for many years. John was an avid bowler and Cy's Lanes and he was a member of Col. Talbot Branch #81 of the Royal Canadian Legion. Cremation has taken place. A service will be held at H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home on Tuesday, June 1, 2010 at 2:00 pm. Interment of ashes will follow at the Aylmer Cemetery.
