Obituary of Jeanne Caughell

Caughell, at her residence on Saturday, May 15, 2010. Jeanne Loretta Caughell of Chateau Gardens, Aylmer. She was 100 years old. Beloved wife of the late Fred Caughell(1994). Predeceased by her brother Gaston DeMontigny(Liliane), her sisters Yvette Charbonneau(Edouard), Annette Robertson(Edgar) and her nephew Robert. Jeanne is survived by a niece Jacqueline, a nephew Peter(Maureen), a niece Beverley and a number of great-nieces and great-nephews. Born in Masson Quebec on March 21, 1910 daughter of the late Louis and Alma (Gosselin) DeMontigny. Jeanne owned and operated Caughell's Book Store for many years. She was appreciated as part of the Aylmer Business Community. Friends may call at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Monday 7-9 p.m. where the funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, May 18, 2010 at 11:00 am. Interment, Aylmer Cemetery.
