Obituary of Ted Dickhout
DICKHOUT, Theodore, (Ted) It is with broken hearts and great sadness that we announce the passing of Ted on March 22, 2010 after a brief illness, at Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital at the age of 76. Loving husband of Vera May for 52 years. Loving father of 6 children, William (Bill) and wife Cheryl of Merlin, Bonnie Schmidt and husband Randy of Leamington, Joseph (Joe) and wife Daphne of Corinth, Benjamin (Ben) of Aylmer, Andrew (Drew) of Kitchener, and Thomas (Tom) of Tillsonburg. Cherished grandfather of 10 grandchildren, Carol, Linda, Billie-Jo, Melissa, Tiffany, Josh, Carrie, Kimberly, Vanessa, and Monica, as well as 17 great grandchildren. Survived by brother-in-law Lee and wife Shirley McKibbin, pre-deceased by sister-in-law Alma and husband Ray Hainer. Ted will also be missed by numerous nieces and nephews. Cousins Ward and Irene Dickhout, Bea Judd, foster sisters Jean and Louise. Ted was very involved in his Church and loved to play horseshoes. Visitation at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Wednesday 7-9 p.m. and Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 pm. where the funeral will be held on Friday March 26, 2010 at 1 p.m. Internment to follow service at Guysboro Cemetery.
