Obituary of Aleida Hoover

Hoover, at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Friday March 19, 2010. Aleida "Alie" Hoover of Aylmer in her 87th year. Beloved wife of the late Clarence "Fuzz" Hoover (1983). Dear mother of John Hoover and his wife Brenda of R.R.# 5, Aylmer, Gerry Hoover and wife Pat of Aylmer, Ron Hoover of Aylmer and Ann Hoover of Bayfield. Loved by her grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Born in Vlissingen, The Netherlands on September 19, 1923 daughter of the late Theodores "Pop" and Gerritje (Derksen) Kleyne. Alie came to Aylmer from the Netherlands sixty four years ago and was the assistant manager of the Sears Store in Aylmer until 1988. She was a member of St.Paul's United Church a member of the U.C.W. and had been a leader of the 1st-B Aylmer Cub Pack. Friends may call at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Monday 2-4 & 7-9 pm where the funeral service will be held on Tuesday March 23, 2010 at 2:00 pm. Interment, Aylmer Cemetery.
