Obituary of Sandra Buchner

Buchner, at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Monday, October 31, 2005. Sandra A. Buchner of R.R.#2, Springfield in her 71st year. Beloved wife of George Buchner and dear mother of Wendy Abell and husband Mike of R.R.#2, Springfield and Sharon Peters and husband Travis of Sumner, Texas. Loving grandmother to Christopher, Daniel, Rebecca, William, Lydia, Ethan and Andrew. She will be sadly missed by a sister Lois Wilson of Exeter and a number of nieces and nephews. Born in Tillsonburg on June 14, 1935 daughter of the late E. Stanley and Myrtle (Hammond) Law. A resident of R.R.#2 Springfield for 33 years, Sandra was a member of the Springfield Baptist Church and the Annendale Museum, Tillsonburg. She was a teacher from 1955-1972 and taught school at Northdale and Chapel School, Woodstock and in England from 1967-68. She won the Gold Cord Award for Girl Guides. Sandra was a 4H Mom and High School Band Mom. Friends may call at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. where the funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 2, 2005 at 1:00 pm. Interment, Springfield Cemetery. Pastor John Twinem, officiating. Donations to Springfield Baptist Church Building Fund, St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital Palliative Care, Cancer Society or the V.O.N. would be appreciated.
