Uncle Doug, Brenda, Debbie, Brian, Kevin and your families. I am so sorry and sad for your loss. Auntie Vie was the spark of that farm that kept things together when we were younger. I remember going to the farm every summer vacation, the city kid going to the farm...that wasn't always a good thing….lol But she always took the time to make sure that I was ok and taken care of. I remember one time when I decided to take a shoe box for my baby chickees that I found and put holes in the lid so they could breathe and not jump out. She helped me feed them and take care of them, I decide that they needed to sleep in my bed because they might be scared without their mommy. But it was sad for the chickees, when Auntie Vie came in to see how they made out the next morning, I had laid on them and killed them. She hugged me and said don't worry.....I'm sure trying not to laugh the whole time....lol She always made it ok, just like she did for everyone that crossed in her path.....she will be dearly missed.
