Obituary of Katie Rakoschi

Rakoschi, peacefully, at her residence on Saturday, February 6, 2010. Katharina "Katie" Rakoschi of Terrace Lodge, Aylmer in her 95th year. Beloved wife of the late John Rakoschi(1982). Dear mother of John Rakoschi and wife Marie of Aylmer, Katie Stickel of Aylmer and Christina Greensides and husband Norman of Owen Sound. Lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Irene, Robert, Linda, John Jr., Julie and Russell. Also survived by three grand children. Predeceased by a daughter Maria Rakoschi and a son-in-law Konrad Stickel, a sister Maria and brothers Michael and George. Born in Tatch Romania on April 23, 1915 daughter of the late Michael and Kristina (Csakli) Bertleff. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church and the German Canadian Club. "Katie" was the founder of the Ladies Aid of the German Canadian Club. Friends may call at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. where the funeral service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, February 10, 2010 at 11:00am. Interment, Aylmer Cemetery. Rev.
