Obituary of Elizabeth Taylor

Taylor, at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Friday, January 8, 2010. Elizabeth "Betty" (Gilbert) Taylor of R.R.1, Belmont in her 85th year. Beloved wife of the late Donald F. Taylor (1997). Dear mother of Janet Taylor and husband Bob Cooke of White Rock, B.C., Gilbert "Harv" Taylor of R.R.# 1 Belmont, Mary Ann Gillard and husband Brian of London and Mark Taylor and wife Josepha of R.R.1, Belmont. Loving grandmother of Phil Gaudette and fiance Britta, Dan, Chris and Anna Cooke, Matthew and Benjamin Gillard and Mitchell, Abbey and Bridget Taylor. Dear sister of Eleanor Slade husband Ken, Fran Chamberlain and husband Don and Bert Gilbert and wife Shirley. Predeceased by a daughter-in-law Mary Vandenburg-Taylor and a brother Jim Gilbert. Born in London on August 10, 1925. Elizabeth graduated from Victoria Hospital as a Registered Nurse. She was a member of the Belmont United Church and the Belmont Lioness Club. Friends may call at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Monday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The Belmont Lioness Club will conduct a memorial service 6:30 pm, Monday at the funeral home. The service will be held at the Belmont United Church on Tuesday, January 12, 2010 at 11:00 am. Cremation has taken place. Interment Dorchester Union Cemetery.
