Hamm, Elizabeth Peacefully at her residence, Chateau Gardens on Thursday, January 7, 2010 in her 88th year. Beloved wife of the late Peter Hamm(1990). Dear mother of David Hamm and wife Tina of R.R.2, Aylmer, Peter Hamm and wife Penny of Tillsonburg, Mike Hamm of Aylmer, Betty Dyck of St. Thomas, Helen Reimer and husband Rick of Gorrie, Linda Dueck and husband John of St. Thomas, Eva Klassen and husband Isaac of Langton, Judy Peters and husband Abe of Copenhagen and Mary Friesen and husband Abe of Aylmer. Loving grandmother to 59 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews. Predeceased by 2 brother and 5 sisters. Born in Chihuahua Mexico on July 25, 1922 daughter of the late Jacob and Susanna (Giesbrecht) Thiessen. Visitation at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held at the Old Colony Mennonite Church, Dingle Street, Aylmer on Monday, January 11, 2010 at 2:00 pm.
