Obituary of Lloyd Lampman

Lampman, peacefully with his family by his side at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Monday, January 4, 2010.Lloyd Alfred Lampman of Aylmer in his 78th year. Beloved husband of Vera (Rowe) Lampman. Dear father of Mary Jane Lampman and husband Ian Maguire of Aylmer and Richard Lampman and wife Susan of Aylmer. Loving grandfather of Jonathan, Melissa, Philip and Chad. Brother of Geraldine Lunn and husband Lloyd. Predeceased by brothers Dennis, Douglas, Chancey, George, Murray, Stanley, Bob and sisters Susie Smith, Loretta McCann and Evelyn Harris. Born in Southwold Township on May 22, 1932 son of the late Darius and Eva Jane (Boughner) Lampman. Lloyd played the fiddle with "Country Friends" at the Monteith Bandshell, Nursing Homes and other events. He retired from the C.N. Railroad after 36 years of service. Friends may call at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. where the funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 7, 2010 at 11:00 am. Interment, Aylmer Cemetery.
