Obituary of James Summers

Summers, at his residence on Tuesday, October 25, 2005. Rev. James Francis Summers of St. Thomas in his 88th year. Father James Summers was ordained May 30, 1953. He served the people of God in the following Parishes: St Clare's Assisi, Windsor(1953-1960), St. Rose Lima, Windsor(1960-1961), St. Philips, Petrolia (1961-1965), All Saints, Strathroy (1965-1969), St. Clare's Assisi, Windsor (1969-1981), Our Lady of Sorrows, Aylmer (1981-1993). He served as assistant chaplain at the Ontario Police College. Born in Sarnia on February 14, 1918 son of the late William and Rosalie (Pinsonneault) Summers. Parish Prayers at Our Lady of Sorrows Roman Catholic Church, John Street South, Aylmer on Thursday at 8:00 p.m. Public Visitation will be held at the Church on Thursday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, October 28, 2005 at 11:00 am.
