Obituary of Sonny Brisseau

Brisseau, at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Wednesday, October 28, 2009. Lorne "Sonny" Brisseau of R.R.5, Aylmer in his 79th year. Beloved husband of Marilyn Brisseau. Dear father of Beverley Cooreman and husband Remi of R.R.6, Aylmer and Mark Brisseau of St. Thomas. Loving grandfather of Ryan, Blair, Matt, Josh, Jordan and Evan. He will be sadly missed by a sister June Bosman and husband Russel of Chatham, a sister-in-law Pat MacLeod and husband George of Aylmer, step brothers George Williams and wife Barb and Ken Williams and wife Janet all of Michigan and a number of nieces and nephews. Predeceased by a sister Lois Brisseau and a brother-in-law Beverley Herman. Born in Houghton Township on November 1, 1930 son of the late Roy and Mae (Carson) Brisseau. Sonny was a member of the Springwater Sharp Shooters and Past President of the East Elgin Sportsman Club. He drove stock car and held the record at the Aylmer Track. Sonny was a tobacco farmer on Conservation Line for many years. Cremation has taken place. A public memorial service will be held at H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home on Saturday, October 31, 2009 at 11:00 am. Interment of ashes will follow at the Orwell Cemetery. Rev. Norman Jones, officiating.
