My grandfather was a brilliant man who made me passionate about everything. He had a lot of strong opinions and a fantastic sense of humour. There is no one in heaven or earth who can keep up with his wry wit and he will be greatly missed by me. I will treasure every moment I had with him, as he taught me what a true gentleman should be. I am a former employee of the Ontario Minstry of Natural Resources, now retired several years myself. I knew Mr. Clark very slightly, first meeting him in 1973. He came to the 50th anniversary party of DLF/MNR in Aylmer in June 1951. I wish to pay my respects to his family. Mr. Clark was a soldier of conservation and public administration who worked hard to ensure that natural resources in Ontario were protected and to lay the foundation for those of us who followed him. He is not forgotten by those who worked for him or who are aware of his significant contribution to the Department of Lands and Forests, the Ministry of Natural Resources, forestry and Aylmer.
