Obituary of Steve Boehm

Boehm, at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Saturday, September 12, 2009. Steve Boehm of Aylmer in his 81st year. Beloved husband of Meta (Birger) Boehm. Dear father of Dan Boehm and wife Susan, of R.R.6, Aylmer, Deb Passmore and husband Leon of R.R.#2, Aylmer and Sharon Burd of West Lorne. Loving grandfather of Jessi and Anthony Boehm, Charlotte, Monica and Clayton Passmore. Brother of Mike Böhm of Aylmer. Also survived by a number of nieces and nephews. Predeceased by a brother Peter and a sister Katharina Hamen. Born in Waltersdorf, Romania on September 6, 1929 son of the late Peter and Katharina (Karsti) Böhm. Steve was a tobacco farmer. He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, the German Canadian Club and he served for 25 years on the Malahide Fire Department #1. Friends may call at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Sunday 7-9, Monday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held at the funeral home chapel on Tuesday, September 15, 2009 at 11:00 am. Interment, Aylmer Cemetery.
