Dear Sue and family and Lynn's family, Sue, I just got home from NFLD and was saddened to hear about Lynn's passing. I just doesn't seem right that we should loose our loved ones so young. I hope there is some comfort for you, as there was for me, when I lost my husband at 40, to know Lynn is in God's hands now, to suffer no more. I remember Lynn as a fun loving and caring young lady and a hard worker. I didn't know Lynn's family, but I do remember the delicious trays of cookies she brought into the OHIP office at Christmas time her sister had made, yummy. Remember all the good times, the laughter and the joy she brought to you and your family Sue. These memories will help to get you through this difficult time. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your families. Judy Osborne

I am so sad and sorry to hear we have lost Linda. She was a real treasure and I miss her terribly. I got to know Linda through business, when I was working at home in Halifax and she was selling our products (Signal 9). Later, when I moved to California we kept in touch and we started a joint venture. We worked together for over three years and she was such a help and support. It seems amazing that we met only once in person - all the rest was by phone and email - and yet she was so dear to me. And still is...

It has been a privilege to get to know Linda over the past 12 years. She was a very sharp entrepreneur and was always most concerned about the needs of others. Linda always got excited about a new challenge and it was just never an option to complain about anything. We had a lot of laughs and always managed to look at the bright side. Linda left us with great memories and she will be missed by everyone!

To the Cleminshaw and Peters' families I would like to send my heartfelt sympathies. Lin and I worked together at OHIP from 1989 to 1995 when Lin was laid off because of the Harris cutbacks. We were seatmates back in 1989 and I had never seen anybody able to code claim cards as fast as Lin. She was always grabbing piles of my claims to help me out when she did'nt have to! Not that I'm complaining! I very much appreciated her help especially at the end of the month when we had deadlines to make so that the Doctors would be paid on time. She always had a smile and a joke to make the job go easier. She would take a huge pile of my claims and say we'll just call them Clem's claims, pass me over 2 cigarettes (we both smoked back then) and tell me to get out of here for a smoke break. Needless to say, I never refused. She was generous in spirit, always tried to keep everybody's spirits up and I am so sorry she had to go through what she went through with her battle with chemo tratments. I know a little bit what that is like because my wife battled breast cancer with chemo and surgeries for seven years and lost her battle too in 2007. Again, my deepest sympathies.

To the Peters and Cleminshaw Families .. I am deeply saddened by the passing of Lin. She has always been a good friend, always ready to listen and lend a hand, and never failed to give a word of encouragement. She touched so many people in her life and her loss will be felt by all.
