Obituary of Tony Van Dyk

Van Dyk, Tony M. (Antonius), 69, of Aylmer, President of the London 2 Seater Motorcycle Tours, former member of BRO and Lady Luck Motorcycle Club and a retired pipe insulator, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday August 18, 2009 with family at his side. Most loving and devoted husband of Phyllis M. Van Dyk (Warren) . Treasured father of Johanna (Marty) Stevens of Cambridge and Trevor (Amy) Van Dyk London. Most special and Best Papa Ever of Duncan and Taryn and Amy's son Brandon. Also survived by brothers, John, Bert, Henry (Anna Marie), Leo (Diane), Frank (Cathy), sisters Lena (Pete) and Tina, and a number of nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brothers Jim, Pete, Joe and sisters, Betty, Mary and Henrietta. Born in Wilbertoord, The Netherlands, on November 28, 1939. Son of the late Leonardus and Johanna (Lamers) Van Dyk. Very much loved and will be sadly missed by the Warren Family of Newfoundland, special brother-in-law Bob Lester and his motorcycle friends. A service to celebrate Tony's life will be held at The Salvation Army Citadel, 380 Elm St., St.Thomas on Saturday August 29 at 11:00 am.
