Dear Marnie and Family - our heartfelt sympathies go out to you on John's passing. What a guy - friendly, cheerful, charitable and a wonderful man to have had the pleasure of meeting and knowing for more that a few years. I still have the photos he took and enlarged of me and my (now deceased) horse, Basil at the Lupus show in Ilderton quite a few years ago. Lots of good memories for me and I know that you have lots more, too! Mary & Moose Clarke

Linda & Family I'm so sorry for your loss and that I wasn't able to get to visitation. My thoughts are with you and your family. I found this verse awhile ago. I hope get the comfort from it that I do: Grief never ends, but it changes. It is a passage, not a place to stay. The sense of loss must give way if we are to value the life that was lived. ~ Author unknown

To Marnie and the Lukash Family; It was with deep sadness that I learned of the passing of John. He was quite the man and a fantastic police instructor. I always looked forward to his classes. I will miss him passing by my home everyday on his way for coffee. Agathe and I offer our deepest and sincere condolences to your family. Terry & Agathe Smith - Aylmer Ontario

Marnie and family, I am going to miss John. When Margo and I heard of John's passing announced during mass Sunday we were both saddened. I am so happy I ran into John at McDonalds on Friday morning and had a conversation with him. I'll miss seeing John at McDonalds in the morning. I'll miss John coming into the office to visit. I'll miss John entertaining the people in my office at various gatherings...so will the people he entertained. John always complimented my coffee. John told some of the best 'stories' I ever heard at the curling club. I enjoyed talking police business with him while I was on the PSB. John never stopped talking about his daughters. I have two girls too. John, I am so privileged to have known you since I moved to Aylmer in the late 80's and freindship and loyalty you shown me throughout my career and life in town. A great man lived a great life! Paul Bode

Dear Linda and family, I was so sorry to hear of the passing of your father so suddenly. My family experienced a similar situation 2 years ago when we lost my dad very suddenly at home at 57, so I can understand a bit about what you are currently going through (though grief is certainly a personal experience and very different for everyone). I hope that you are able to draw on all the great memories you no doubt have of your dad and find comfort in them. It is hard to imagine your life without someone you love in it, but you do find a way, and you'll feel them in everything you do because now they can be with you always. I am thinking of you in this difficult time. With sympathy, Kelly Sauve Lord Dorchester S.S.

My deepest sympathy to the entire Lukash family on John's passing. He was my Federal Statutes instructor during my RCMP Recruit Training at "N" Divison Ottawa in 1965. I remember him as a very qualified and dedicated teacher. He is certainly one instructor who has remained in my memories since 1965. May it comfort you in knowing that others are sharing in your loss. John Bain, #24059 RCMP Retired

We are so sad to hear of the passing of our dear Uncle John. Just short of a visit he was to make to Saskatchewan to see us for a visit, God took him home. Our sympathies to the family and many friends who loved him more than words could ever express. We are all better for having known him. Love, Rob and Sharon Danylchuk of Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan
