Burwell, peacefully at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital surrounded by his loving family on Sunday, June 7, 2009. Harold William Burwell of Aylmer in his 72nd year. Loving husband for fifty-one years of Rosemary (Bradt) Burwell. Loving father of Ruth Gee and husband Barry of Richmond, Peggy McCracken and husband Jim of St.Thomas. Proud grandfather of Alicia Campbell and husband Dave, Greg Gee and fiancee Natasha Nukem, Eric Gee and wife Ashley, Jeremy Granger, Jeff Granger and fiancee Paige McKnight. Loving Papa of Emily and Dylan Campbell, Dalton Chilcott, Josie and Angus Gee, Erica, Logan, Wyatt and Taylor Granger. Brother of Marlene Mooseberger and husband Henry of R.R.# 1, Port Burwell, Brian "Mick" Burwell and wife Mary of Aylmer and Mary Ann French and husband Steve of Aylmer. Brother -in-law of Joan Burwell. Also survived by a number of brother-in-laws, sister-in-laws, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Predeceased by a brother Ken "Cub" Burwell (1998). Born in Tillsonburg Ontario on September 22, 1937 son of the late Howard and Marjorie (Gibson) Burwell. Harold was a retired transport driver. Friends may call at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9pm where the funeral service will be held on Wednesday June 10, 2009 at 1:00 pm. Interment, Aylmer Cemetery.
