Metcalfe, peacefully at Caressant Care Bonnie Place, St. Thomas on Friday, May 15, 2009.Sylvia Lucinda Metcalfe of St. Thomas and formerly of London in her 91st year. Wife of the late Harry A. Metcalfe(1985) and beloved companion of the late William Kloosterman(1995). Cherished mother of Sheryl and Bill Cummings of Ilderton, Garry and Darlene Metcalfe of Edmonton, Alberta and Steevan and Alanna Metcalfe of Elnora, Alberta. Loved grandmother of Scott and Michelle Cummings, Garrett Metcalfe and Evan and Jillian Metcalfe. Great-grandmother of Mackenzie, Payten and Drew Cummings. Sister of Wildred and Shirley Buck. Born in Malahide Township on May 08, 1919 daughter of the late Clayton and Vera (Shackelton) Buck. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home on Friday, May 29, 2009 at 11:00 am. Interment of ashes will follow at the Aylmer Cemetery. Donations to the Boys' and Girls' Club of London, 184 Horton St., London N6B 1K7 would be appreciated. Visitation one hour prior to the service.
