Obituary of David Dyck

Dyck, at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Monday, May 11, 2009. David Dyck T. of Aylmer in his 58th year. Beloved husband of Susana (Thiessen) Dyck. Dear father of Mary Veraart and Fiance Harvey Lalonde of Pt. Edward, Peter Dyck of Aylmer and the late David Dyck Jr. Loving grandfather of Tyler, Caitlin, Abigail, Keegan and Avery. Brother of Susan Enns(Peter), Tina Klassen, Peter Dyck(Anna), Jake Dyck(Helena) and Isaak Dyck. Also survived by a number of step-brothers, step-sisters, nieces and nephews. Born in Chihuahua Mexico on November 1, 1951 son of the late Peter and Maria (Thiessen) Dyck and step-son of the late Elizabeth Dyck. David worked at Steelway Buliding Systems in the shipping and receiving department. He was a former Chairman of the Board of the Mennonite Community Services. David was an active volunteer at the MCC, the MCC Store, the MCS, DeBrig German Radio Station and at his church the Sommerfeld Mennonite Church at Mount Salem. Friends may call at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held at the Sommerfeld Mennonite Church, R.R.6, Aylmer (Mount Salem) on Wednesday, May 13, 2009 at 2:00 pm.
