Driessen, at his residence on Wednesday, April 22, 2009. Theodorus "Ted" Driessen of Aylmer in his 86th year. Beloved husband of the late Jean Driessen (2008). Dear father of Marie McDowell and husband Carl of Springfield, Jeanette Driessen-McCracken of Aylmer, Daniel Driessen of Brownsville and Connie Driessen-Prygos and husband Jim of Locust Hill. Loved by his grandchildren Rory, Deney, Dustin, Quinn, Destiny, Jillian, Fonda, and Eleni. Brother of Tina Joris of Strathroy. Also survived by brother and sister in The Netherlands. Predeceased by a daughter Geraldine, son-in-law Jim McCracken and a brother Will Driessen. Born in Deurne, The Netherlands on December 29, 1923, son of the late Christiaan and Johanna (Pijnenburg) Driessen. Ted was a retired tobacco farmer and a member of Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church. Friends may call at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Friday 2-4 & 7-9 pm .The Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church, Aylmer on Saturday April 25, 2009 at 1:00 pm. Interment, Queen of Peace Cemetery. Father Joseph Nevett, officiating. Prayers at the funeral home 3:00 pm. Friday.
