Obituary of Michael T. Ungar

Ungar, Michael T. of Aylmer passed away at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Thursday, May 18, 2017 in his 91st year. Beloved husband of the late Theresia (Berghammer) Ungar. Dear father of John Ungar and wife Jane of Aylmer, Trudy Ungar-Mara and husband Jim Mara of Kitchener and Mike Ungar and wife Linda of Tillsonburg. Loved by: his grandchildren Chris(Yvonne), Bryan(Kristen), Amanda(Stephen), Matthew, Craig and Jordan, great-grandchildren Bryce, Avery, Brady and Ellie, a brother John Ungar(Rose) and a number of nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his sister Maria Vladars(Josef). Michael came to Canada in 1953. He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church and the German Canadian Club. Born in Billak, Romania on November 1, 1926, son of the late John and Maria Ungar. Friends may call at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. where the funeral service will be held at the funeral home chapel on Monday, May 22, 2017 at 11:00 am. Interment, Aylmer Cemetery.
