Obituary of James Deen

Deen, James of Aylmer passed away at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Tuesday, May 16, 2017 in his 88th year. Beloved husband of the late Afra Deen(2009). Dear father of Anthony Deen and wife Helen Marie, James Deen Jr. and wife Claire, Helaina Bate, Rose Marie Fragiskatos and husband Ted and Tracey Gibson. Also survived by a brother Volkert, a sister Atie, 13 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his son John Deen, a sister Truus, brothers Jan, Klaas and Henk. Born in Grootebroek The Netherlands on November 6, 1929, son of the late Volkert and Ida (DeBoer) Deen. James worked at Clark Equipment for a number of years. Friends may call at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Thursday 6-9 p.m. Prayers Thursday at 8:30 p.m.The funeral mass will be held at Our Lady of Sorrows R.C. Church on Friday, May 19, 2017 at 10:00 am.
