Cummings, Thelma Eileen of Aylmer passed away at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Thursday, May 4, 2017 in her 96th year. Beloved wife of the late Wallace Roy Cummings(1992). Dear mother of Elaine Thompson(David) of St. Thomas, Marlene Fowler(James) of St. Thomas, Brian Cummings(Rose Mary) of Aylmer. Special niece Terry. Loving grandmother of Rhonda(Tim), Karen(Mark), Dean(Angela), Melissa, Nicole(John), Jason(Jasmine), Joshua(Nicole) and Emily(Cody). Sister of Cecil(Mabel). Sister-in-law of Marjorie, Jack(Linda), Alice(Piet) and Claire. Also survived by a number of great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brothers Harold, Carl and Walter, a sister Bertha, in-laws Alfred, Edith, Winnifred, Lawrence, Clarence and Gordon. Born in Yarmouth Township on October 10, 1921, daughter of the late John and Mabel (Simons) Somerville. Thelma was proud to have lived a Summers Corners for over 70 years. Friends may call at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Friday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. where the funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 6, 2017 at 1:00 pm. Interment, Aylmer Cemetery.
