Obituary of Margaretha Martens

Martens, Margaretha of Vienna passed away peacefully at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Saturday, April 1, 2017 in her 79th year. Beloved wife of Heinrich Wiebe and the late Johan Martens(2005). Dear mother of Frank(Elizabeth), John(Sarah), Anna Enns(Frank), Mary Martens, Margaret Wolf(Henry), Kathy Hildebrandt(late John), Christina Hildebrandt(Peter), Isaak(Eva). Sister to Abraham, Anna and the late Maria. Born in Durango, Mexico on February 9, 1939, daughter of the late Franz and Maria (Woelke) Thiessen. Margaretha came to Canada on 1972 and settled in the Glencoe area. She retired from McConnell's/Lakeview Nursery and was a resident of Vienna for many years. Friends may call at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Monday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held at the Old Colony Mennonite Church, Aylmer on Tuesday, April 4, 2017 at 2:00 pm.
