Obituary of Ernest Crawford

Crawford, Ernest Gordon of Terrace Lodge, Aylmer passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 5, 2017 in his 97th year. Beloved husband of Marjorie (Babcock) Crawford for 53 years. Also survived by a number of nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by a sister-in-law Oral Segui, brothers-in-law David and Stanley Babcock. Born in Strathroy on December 18, 1920, son of the late William and Almeda Crawford. Ernie wasa retired nursing orderly at the Westminster Campus of Victoria Hospital for 30 years. He was a Veteran of WWII. Ernie was a member of Col. Talbot Branch 81 of the Royal Canadian Legion and the Aylmer Missionary Church. Friends may call at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Tuesday 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held at the Aylmer Missionary Church on Wednesday, March 8, 2017 at 11 a.m. Interment, Aylmer Cemetery.
