Fath, at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Tuesday, March 31, 2009. John Fath Sr. of Aylmer in his 83rd year. John is survived by his wife Darlene McGregor. Dear father of John Fath Jr. and wife Kelly of Aylmer and Judy Fowler and husband George of Aylmer. Loving grandfather of Meghan(Jeff), Dana, Johnny(Melissa) and Katie(Pete). Step-father of Michelle Glover and husband John and Carey McGregor and wife Sylvia. Nephew of Madeline Fath. Predeceased by his wife Mary (Kimmel) Fath(1968), a brother Michael Fath and a sister Barbara Lehr. Born in Pari Hungary on January 16, 1927 son of the late Michael and Kristina (Ginder) Fath. John was a tobacco farmer south of Aylmer for many years. Friends may call at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Wednesday 7-9 p.m. and Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. where prayers will be held at the funeral home on Thursday at 8:00 p.m. The funeral mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Sorrows R.C. Church on Friday, April 3, 2009 at 11:00 am. Interment, Queen of Peace Cemetery. Father Joseph Nevett, officiating. Donations to Heart and Stroke Fund or the Lung Assoc. would be appreciated.
