Hartoon, Dorothy of RR5 Aylmer passed away at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Tuesday, July 10, 2012 in her 80th year. Beloved wife of the late "Jim" James Hartoon(1996). Dear mother of Darlene Patterson of RR2, Aylmer. Mother-in-law of Steve Patterson. Loving grandma of Krista Patterson and Rob Patterson and wife Jessica and great grandma of Isabelle and Bryanna. Also survived by a number of nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brothers Harold, Parker and Douglas Thayer. Born on July 2, 1933 daughter of the late Herbert and Clare (Scruton) Thayer. Dorothy was a member of Malahide United Church and formerly worked at Imperial Tobacco. Friends may call at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Friday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. where the funeral service will be held on Saturday July 14, 2012 at 11:00 am. Interment, Dunboyne Cemetery.
