Obituary of Betty Laur

Laur, Betty Ann of Aylmer passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Sunday, February 5, 2017 in her 80th year. Beloved wife of the late Fred Laur. Dear mother of Lisa Parke and husband Howard and Ryan Laur and wife Jill and loving Nana of Dylan, Melissa, Kyler, Kaiden, Cole, Wyatt. Born in Wellesley Twp. Ontario on November 28, 1937, daughter of the late Stewart and Florence (Cook) MacTavish. Dear sister-in-law to Grant Laur and wife Joyce, Marilyn Gillies and husband Bob and Myrna Barham and husband Bruce and sister-in-law of Annie Laur. Predeceased by her brother-in-law Ralph Laur. Also survived by a number of nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held at St. Paul's United Church on Thursday, February 9, 2017 at 11:00 am. Interment, Aylmer Cemetery.
