Obituary of Roger Sweetman

Sweetman, Roger William passed away at Caressant Care - Bonnie Place St. Thomas on Saturday, January 28, 2017 in his 83rd year. Beloved husband of Marilyn Lee (Boughner) Sweetman(2010). Dear father of Brian Sweetman and wife Linda of London and Stephen Sweetman of Aylmer. Brother of Ken Sweetman(Betty Ann), the late Murray Sweetman and the late Glen Sweetman. Loving grandfather of Jeffery and Jon. Brother-in-law of Carol McLay of Aylmer and Barb Valiquette and husband Paul of Petrolia. Also survived by a number of nieces and nephews. Born in Comber on August 20, 1934, son of the late Warren and Lura (Ellis) Sweetman. Roger worked at Imperial and formerly lived in Lyons and Candyville. Roger was a guitar player with the Family Four Combo in the 1970's. The funeral service will be held at the Kebbel Funeral Home on Wednesday, February 1, 2017 at 1:00 pm. Visitation Tuesday 7-8 p.m. Cremation has taken place. Interment, Aylmer Cemetery. Donations to the Heart and Storoke Foundation would be appreciated.
