Laur, at his residence on Monday, March 23, 2009. Ralph Wayne Laur of R.R.4, Aylmer in his 67th year. Beloved husband of Anne (Geldart) Laur. Dear father of Ashley and partner Rob Watson of Aylmer and Mike Laur and wife Crystal of Vienna. Loving grandfather of Tabitha. Step-father of Chris and Betty Geldart and Jason and Stacy Geldart. Step-grandfather of Taylor and Jordan Geldart. Brother of Grant Laur and wife Joyce of R.R.4, Aylmer and Larry Laur and wife Gail of London, Marilyn Gillies and husband Bob of Aylmer and Myrna Barham and husband Bruce of Aylmer and brother-in-law of Betty Laur of Aylmer. Also survived by a number of nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his brother Fred Laur. Born in St. Thomas on July 6, 1942 son of the late Wynfred and Stella (Jackson) Laur. Ralph was an airplane pilot and car mechanic. He owned and operated an aerial spraying business and worked with Hicks and Lawrence. Ralph owned and operated the Rad Shops in Aylmer, St. Thomas and Strathroy. Friends may call at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. where the funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 26, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. Interment, Aylmer Cemetery. Rev. Norman Jones, officiating.
