Obituary of Helga Ungar
Ungar, Helga Roswitha of R.R.2, Aylmer passed away with her husband Michael by her side at London Health Science Centre- Victoria Hospital on Saturday, January 21, 2017 in her 70th year. Beloved wife of Michael Ungar. Loving mother of the late Michael Eric Ungar(2011). Dear step-mother of Linda Oswell (Mark Irvine) of Aylmer, Lisa Thompson (Phil) of Seattle, Washington, and Anita Mair (Steven) of Calabasas, California. Loving sister of Horst Beindressler (Walburga). Dear grandmother of Alexandria Oswell, Leighton and Spencer Mair. Born in Pretai, Romania on May 11, 1947, daughter of the late Peter and Anna (Rether) Beindressler . She moved to Canada in 1978 settling on the farm in Aylmer. Helga's lifelong love of children led her to a career in teaching. She was Sunday school teacher and children's program organizer at the German Canadian Club. She had a strong sense of faith and was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church. Friends may call at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. where the funeral service will be held at the funeral home chapel on Wednesday, January 25, 2017 at 11:00 am. Prayers at the funeral home on Tuesday at 8 p.m. Cremation will follow. Private Family Interment, Aylmer Cemetery at a later date.
