Obituary of William Anstey Lock
Lock, William Anstey of Aylmer and formerly of Port Perry and Oshawa passed away at his residence on Monday, December 26, 2016 in his 87th year. Beloved husband of the late Betty Joan (Morey) Lock. Dear father of Robert Lock (Linda Joy) of Pickering, Valerie Van Camp (Art) of Port Perry and Barbara Ann Laur (Jim) of Aylmer. Loving grandfather to Ryan, Corey, Kevin, Robbie, Jennifer, Kristian, Caitlin, Mathew, Natalie, Dennis, Trevor, and Brent. Also survived by a number of great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Predeceased by a brother Major Norman Edward Lock and a sister Private Rita Snow. Born in Oshawa Ontario on November 11, 1930, son of the late Captain William James and Rose (Anstey) Lock. Bill was a member of Col. Talbot Branch 81 of the Royal Canadian Legion in Aylmer and the Royal Canadian Airforce Association 420 Oshawa Wing. Friends may call for visitation at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Tuesday Jan 3 from 7-9 p.m. where a service will be held on Wednesday, Jan. 4 2017 at 11:00 am. A celebration of Bill's life will be held at the 420 Oshawa Wing at a later date. Cremation has taken place. Interment at Groveside Cemetery, Brooklin. Donations to the Col.
