Obituary of Ruby Steen

Steen (Hewson), Ruby of St. Thomas passed away at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Thursday,December 22, 2016 in her 90th year. Beloved wife of the late Archie Hewson (1980) and the late Irving"Shorty" Steen (2002). Dear mother of Jerry Hewson (Brenda) of Guelph, Marilyn Laidlaw (Larry) of St.Thomas, Ron Hewson(Dianna) of Aylmer, Bob Hewson (Nancy) of Tillsonburg and Tim Hewson(Pam ) of Ajax. Also survived by a number of grandchildren, great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Predeceased by a sister Greta Martin and a brother Harold Simpson. Born in Aylmer, Ontario on November 25, 1927, daughter of the late Aubrey and Marguerite (Wereley) Simpson. Ruby lived most her life in Aylmer and Orwell. Friends may call at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Tuesday, December 27 from 2-4 and 7-9pm where the funeral will be held Wednesday, December 28, 2016 at 11:00 am. Interment, Orwell Cemetery.
