Obituary of Rene Van Acker

Van Acker, Rene of Terrace Lodge Aylmer passed away at his residence on Tuesday, December 6, 2016 in his 97th year. Beloved husband of the late Rachel Van Acker(2008). Dear father of Larry VanAcker and wife Marilyn of R.R.5, Aylmer and the late Vera Cathers(2012). Father-in-law to Fred Cathers. Loving grandfather of Carrie Kenny(Tyson), Dr. Chris Cathers(Kim), Sandra Calhoun(Trevor), Ryan Van Acker(Jackie) and great-grandfather of Grayson, Rachel, Noah and Jaxon, Emma, Alanah, Ethan and Ava. Born in Roux Belgium on March 5, 1920. Rene served in the W.W.II with the Belgium Army. Friends may call at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Friday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Prayers at Friday 4:00 p.m. The funeral mass will be held at Our Lady of Sorrows Roman Catholic Church on Saturday, December 10, 2016 at 10:00 am.
