Jenkins, Leila Mildred of Caressant Care, Bonnie Place, St.Thomas and formerly a longtime resident of Monoak Farm, Wilson Line, Belmont passed away peacefully at her residence on Monday, November 28, 2016 in her 93rd year. Beloved wife of 61 years to the late Donald Jenkins (2010). Dear mother of Donna Ripley and husband Jack of St.Thomas, Betty Butcher and husband Brent of Ayr, Gordon Jenkins and wife Ruth of Belmont and Charlie Jenkins and wife Betty Jane of Belmont. Predeceased by an infant son. Loved by her grandchildren Donald (Katie), Nicole(Eric), Jason (Jessica), Jeremy, Jenny(Wes), Maryanne(Paul), Scarlet(Victor), Quinton, Jessica, and Michael. Great grand grandmother of Katie, Oliver, Sophia, Alisha,Riley Arizona and Lincoln. Born in Culloden on May 31, 1924 daughter of the late Gordon and Florence(Anger) Smith. Predeceased by brothers Harold(Jean)Smith and Carl(Agnes) Smith, a sister-in-law Bea(Walter) Matthews and brother-in-law Harold(Audrey) Jenkins. She was a member of the Belmont United Church. Friends may call at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Thursday December 1, 2016 from 11:00 am- 1:00 pm where the funeral service will follow at 1:00 pm. Interment, Delmer Cemetery.
