Obituary of John Siemens

Siemens, at his residence surrounded by his wife and children on Monday, March 2, 2009. John Siemens of Woodingford Lodge, Tillsonburg and formerly Cultus in his 86th year. Beloved husband of the Margaretha (Knelsen) Siemens and the late Helena (Peters) Siemens. Dear father of Frank and wife Margaret, John and wife Elizabeth, Anna Hamm, Margaret Wiebe, Bill and wife Kathy, Abe and wife Jessica, Susan Wiebe and husband George, Betty Tiechroeb and husband John, Peter and wife Tina, Helen Knelsen and husband Bill, Neil and wife Eva, Mary MacFarlane and husband Bernie, Nancy VanHooren and husband Rick and Tina Gratton and husband Paul. Also survived by 40 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews. Predeceased by sons George and Johan, daughters Anna and Helena, a grandson Frank, brothers Wilhelm, George and Cornelius, a sister Anna. Born in Waldheim Manitoba on May 19, 1923 son of the late Wilhelm and Anna (Hein) Siemens. Visitation at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Wednesday 2-4 & 7-9 pm The funeral service will be held at the Reinland Mennonite Church on Thursday, March 5, 2009 at 3:00 pm.
