My deepest condolences for your loss. As far as ex-father-in-laws go, Don was one of the best. He always had a way of telling a story, that would have you in stitches and wanting more. Kaboom
It was a wonderful fall day as only Aylmer can produce and Don was burning leaves when Kay, the love of his life called him in for lunch. He returned sometime later to a smoldering pile, suffocated and for the most part, extinguished. Undaunted and being a man of science, praise and petrol, he poured on generous amounts of each and offered up a lit match. Before you could say, "kaboom" the smoldering pile of leaves ignited turning Don's day into RCMP Scarlett, searing him from Bermuda shorts to boyish grin. I sat down and recorded the event in cartoon and caricature, sending Don the original and keeping my copy to be hung on my wall. Love you buddy
