Obituary of Jeanne Coffey

Coffey, at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Wednesday February 11, 2009. Jeanne Ann Coffey of R.R.# 1 Belmont in her 59th year. Beloved wife of Terry Coffey and the late David VanVelzer (1996). Dear mother of Jeff VanVelzer and wife Paula of R.R.# 1, Aylmer and predeceased by a daughter Tracy Mae VanVelzer (1997). Step-mother of Jeffry Coffey and wife Lorie of St.Thomas, and Jason Coffey and wife Shelley of London. Loved by her grandchildren Kaylie Buck-VanVelzer, Claireese Coffey, Kaydence Coffey, Correy Mason and Candice Thomas. Sister of Kathy Babcock of Aylmer, George Babcock and wife Margaret Ann of Aylmer, Ron Babcock and wife Pam of Aylmer, Dennis Babcock and wife Coral of Vienna, Glen Babcock and wife Brenda of Vienna, Janet Irwin of Aylmer, Joanne Davis and husband Scott of Straffordville, and Randy Babcock and wife Leona of Aylmer. Predeceased by a brother Robert and a sister Susan. Also survived by a number of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Born in St.Thomas, January 29, 1951 dear daughter of Frank Babcock of Springfield and the late Mae (Gibbons) Babcock. Jeanne had lived in the Aylmer and Springfield area all her life. She retired from Imperial Leaf Tobacco and was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Br# 81, Aylmer. Friends may call at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Friday 2-4&7-9pm where the funeral service will be held on Saturday February 14, 2009 at 11:00 am. Interment, Springfield Cemetery. Rev. Roger Landell, officiating.
