Obituary of Janny Hiemstra

Hiemstra, Jantje "Janny" of Aylmer passed away at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Thursday, August 11, 2016 in her 88th year. Beloved wife of the late Wytze Hiemstra(2015). Dear mother of Margaret Driesman and husband Rick of St. Thomas, Rick Hiemstra and wife Cathy of Aylmer, Lynn O'Brien of Aylmer and Charlie Hiemstra and wife Patty of Aylmer. Loving grandmother of Joshua, Rachel(Kevin), Katie(Chris), Ken(Ruby), Kurtis, Quinn, Stephanie(Ryan), Stacey(Steve) and Ryan(Sydney). Sister of Tina, Hilda(Ron), Bob(Elly), Henry(Coby), Ralph(Ann), Andy(Siska) and predeceased by a brother John. Also survived by a number of great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Born on August 26 1928 in Haulerwijk, Netherlands. Janny was a faithfull member of the Aylmer Christian Reformed Church. Friends may call at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Friday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A private family graveside service will be held at the Aylmer Cemetery followed by a public funeral service at the funeral home chapel on Saturday, August 13, 2016 at 11:00 am.
