Obituary of Helen Allen

Allen, Helen Mae passed away at her residence, Chartwell Home, Aylmer on Saturday, August 6, 2016 in her 87th year. Survived by two sons Kenneth S. (Diane) Allen & Michael (Marie) Allen both of Lyons, and four daughters, Vikki Long (Bob) of Atlanta, Georgia, USA, Judi (Serge) Bernard of New Liskard, Kathy (Mike) Roy of London and Cindy (Jim) Laffin of Woodstock. Helen is loved and will be sadly missed by her many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. ~ Predeceased by her husband, Kenneth Eugene Allen (1981) & brother Frank Reid (1999) & brother-in-law Ray Lydick (2016). Survived by 3 sisters, Lillian Hicks & Viola Hicks of Niagara Falls, Iola Lydick of New York, USA, & 3 brothers Gerald Reid of Valley, Colchester County, Nova Scotia, George Reid of Truro, Nova Scotia and Kenneth Reid of Owen Sound, Ontario. Born in Bible Hill, Nova Scotia on April 7, 1930, daughter of the late Francis Gerald (1989) and Muriel Ella (McKinna) Reid (1994). Friends may call at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Tuesday 7-9 p.m where the service will be held on Wednesday, August 10, 2016 at 11:00 am. Cremation has taken place. Interment, Aylmer Cemetery.
