Obituary of Gerhard Blatz

Blatz, Gerhard passed away at his residence, Menno Lodge Aylmer on Thursday, July 7, 2016 in his 79th year. Beloved husband of Gertruda (Loewen) Blatz. Dear father of Anna Loewen(Peter), Gertrude Loepky, Abram Blatz(Maria), Maria Blatz, Henry Blatz(Tina) and Peter Blatz(Tina). Also survived by a sister Anna, daughter-in-law Alma, 22 grandchildren, 15 great- grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews. Predeceased by a son George, a son-in-law Johan and sisters Helen and Maria. Born in Chihuahua Mexico on September 2, 1937 son of the late Gerhard and Anna (Dyck) Blatz. Friends may call at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Saturday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held at the Old Colony Mennonite Church, Aylmer on Sunday, July 10, 2016 at 3:00 pm.
