Obituary of Jerry Learn

Learn, Gerald Herbert "Jerry" of St. Thomas passed away at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Saturday, June 11, 2016 at the age of 80. Beloved husband of the late Janice Ann (McMahon) Learn(1994). Dear father of Terry Learn and wife Lesley of Medicine Hat, Alberta, Penni Lenane-Van Beers and husband Steve of RR2, Aylmer and Kristene Learn and partner Jim Gall of St. Thomas. Loving grandfather of Denis(Kate), Jackalynn(Dave), Jacqueline(J.R.), Randy Lynn(Brian), Katherine and Sarah. Proud great-grandpa to Lillian, Morgan, Kevin, Collin and Jacques. Born in Malahide Township Ontario on February 04, 1936 son of the late Jack and Evalene (Lightfoot) Learn. Jerry worked with his father at Jack Learn and SonTrucking. He worked for Imperial Tobacco and in later years at Elgin Handles. Jerry enjoyed his trailer at Port Bruce. He operated Learn-a-Lane Trailer Park at Port Bruce. Friends may call at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A graveside service will be held at the Aylmer Cemetery on Friday, June 17, 2016 at 11:30 a.m. Donations to the Cancer Society would be appreciated.
