Remembering this week the kindest, most gentle man I know. Don was one of my Mom & Dad's dearest friends and we are so blessed to of known him and shared so many wonderful visits and memories the past few years with him and Jean. It offered us all a chance to keep OUR parent's memory alive. He was the pillar of his family and his love for his children and grandchildren was so evident in everything he did. We love and Miss you Don. Sending hugs and prayers to Rob, Kevin, Brian, Dawn and all your families as you get through this first anniversary without him. Don and I had a few conversations about the difficulty of being an elected official in the town. He understood that many may think he could do no right and that is a condition of the job; to be able to withstand the withering critisism and continue to try and help people. He did! You will be remembered with our great respect.

Don was an amazing gentleman in the truest form. I will forever cherish the warm and wonderful friendship we have had throughout my entire life.
