Obituary of Ted Alden

Alden, peacefully at Chateau Gardens, Aylmer on Wednesday, December 17, 2008. "Ted" Thomas E. Alden of Aylmer in his 84h year. Born on April 18, 1925 in Peel County, but lived most of his life in Sparta and Aylmer. Loved son of the late William and Ada (Saunders) Alden. Dear brother of Ron Alden of Mitchell and Irene Locey of St. Thomas. Also survived by a number of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Predeceased by his brother George and his sister Lily. Ted farmed for 50 years on Sweet Acres Farm, Glencolin Line Aylmer. Friends may call at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. where the funeral service will be held on Friday, December 19, 2008 at 11:00 am. Interment, Aylmer Cemetery. Rev. Cam Watts, officiating.
