Obituary of David E. White

White, David Edward of Aylmer passed away at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Saturday, April 30, 2016 in his 89th year. Beloved husband of the late Margery Elaine (Baumbach) White(2012). Dear father of Brian White and wife Salwa of London, Janice Glover of Naramata B.C., and Gary White and wife Nancy of Elora. Loved dearly by his grandchildren Sydney, David, Lela and Jonah. Predeceased by a brother Bob White and a son-in-law James Glover. Born in Chatham , Ontario on April 4, 1928, son of the late Ralph and Eleanor (Johnston) White. Dave was the general manager for the Elgin co-op for most of his career. He was also the President of the Fertilizer Institute of Canada for many years . He was a graduate of the Univerity of Guelph and was raised in Stratford. Dave loved his family, friends neighbours hockey and golf. He will he remembered for his 24th of May backyard fireworks display and neighbourhood party, great sense of unfiltered humour and the kindness he showed to everyone he met, his yearly backyard hockey rink, his love of music and all of the ladies to loved dance with him The funeral service will be held on Monday, May 9, 2016 at 1:00 pm. from the H.
