Obituary of Len Krygsman
Krygsman, Leendert Pieter "Len" passed away peacefully at Terrace Lodge, Aylmer on Wednesday, April 27, 2016 in his 89th year. Beloved husband of Ina Krygsman(October 14, 2015). Loving father of Elly VanAlten of Edmonton Alberta, John Krygsman (Trudy) of London, Pauline(Wayne Jolly) of Aylmer, Marjorie Pasma(Jake) of Mossley, Len Krygsman 3rd(Pam) of Northbridge Mass, Helen Krygsman(Tim Whitesel) of St. Thomas, Hubert(Nancy) of Ancaster, Peter(Sharon) of Guelph, Mary Klingenberg (Jeff) of Hagersville, Rick Krygsman (Karen) of Kingsmill, Erica(Brad Roy) of Turks and Caicos, Alex(Aimee) of Belmont, Carolyn Prinsen (Mark) of Brights Grove. Survived by a sister Ekkie and predeceased by a number of sisters and brothers in the Netherlands. Also survived by a quantity of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Born in Zevenhuizen The Netherlands on April 30, 1927, son of the late Leendert Pieter and Alida (Schenk) Krygsman. Len served in Indonesia with distinction. He came to Canada in 1951 and was a farmer in Malahide Township and later he sold real estate. Len's greatest joy was his wife, children and grandchildren. He spent many happy hours later in life on the Port Bruce Pier fishing. Choral singing and the St. Thomas Male Choir provided an outlet for his extracurricular interests. Farming was his occupation but the joy of faith and family were more important to him. The Funeral Service will be held at the Aylmer Christian Reformed Church on Saturday, April 30 at 11 a.m. Visitation at the Funeral Home on Friday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A private family burial will take place prior to the Funeral at the Aylmer Cemetery. kebbelfuneralhome.com
