Dykxhoorn, (Teunis) Tony, Psalm 42: With his family at his side at London Health Sciences Centre, Westminster Campus. Tony Dykxhoorn was received into Glory on Friday November 28, 2008 in his 76th year. Beloved husband for 51 years of Corrie (nee de Groot) and much loved father of Rick and Sue Dykxhoorn of Brownsville, Harry and Marilyn Dykxhoorn of Brownsville, Cynthia and Ralph Aukema of Chatham, Betty-Anne and John Werkema of Beachville and Albert Dykxhoorn and Matt Birse of Barrie. Predeceased by a son Ralph Anthony (1970). Grandpa will be missed by his 19 grandchildren (6 married) and 3 great grandchildren. Brother of Margaret and Herman Bremer, Lou and Tina Dykxhoorn, Dick and Nellie Dykxhoorn and Jack and Hermina Dykxhoorn. Born in the Netherlands on January 4, 1933 son of the late Dirk and Clazena (Vander Lugt) Dykxhoorn. Tony was a dairy farmer at Brownsville from 1962 - 2008. The family will receive friends at the Aylmer Christian Reformed Church, 194 South St. W., Aylmer on Monday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Following a private interment a celebration of Tony's life will take place at the Aylmer Christian Reformed Church on Tuesday, December 2 at 11:00 am with Pastors Richard deLange and Louis Bosma officiating.
